Timperley FC End of Season Presentation Day

Our end of season presentation day - Sunday 10th July - is nearly on us. Here is a quick reminder of what is going on, and the various timings.

Presentation Time Slots

09:30 - Under 5s

10:15 - Under 6s

11:00 - Under 7s

11:45 - Under 8s

13:00 - Under 9s

13:45 - Under 10s

14:30 - Under 11s

Activities

In terms of entertainment and activities for the day, we are reasonably well staffed, and can run what we wanted to run from 11am up to 2:30pm. The latest table of activities and time slots is attached. I know a few people have contacted since, and if anybody else would be interested in helping out on the day, either side of their child's presentation slot, the message is simply to make yourself known on the day to any Timperley FC coach or committee member (we will all be wearing club colours!), who will gladly point you in the direction of areas we need help. This may be something as simple as making sure other volunteers are fed and watered, or filling in where we look short of cover.

Photos

Following the presentation of awards for each age group / team, there will be an opportunity to get a team photo as well as individual photos with trophies. The coaches will be responsible for getting their teams into the room and also out of the room, to where the photos will be taken. If you don't want your child to be included in these photos please let your coach or a committee member know on the day.

Additionally, during the presentations we would like to run a slideshow of photos, showing our club achievements and our children doing what they do best. If you have any photos you would like to share, I have created a Google Drive folder which you can save your files to. Please let me know if you have any problems with saving to this folder.

Kit

As this is a club day, and in to support a sense of team ethos (in particular on photos), could we ask that all children wear their home Timperley FC kit on the day?

Football

We are a football club, and at some point we fully expect the odd game of football to break out! To ensure we continue to meet our welfare commitments, any game of football should be supervised by a responsible adult in case of any injuries that occur.

We will also set up a net on one of the pitches for a penalty shoot out, and any parents who want to dust off their old turf boots, we will look to arrange some coach vs parent games (for safety's sake we will not be running any "Dads v Lads" games), so please dress appropriately if you want to take part!

Club Admin

There will be a "drop box" available on the day for any parent who wishes to drop any forms off for next season. Please ask on the day if you are unsure.

Anything Else

Please contact any of the committee members (details available on the club website www.timperleyfc.co.uk), or speak to any of us or your coaches at training, and we will be happy to help.

Many thanks,

Mike Ripley

U8s Coach and TFC Social Media Manager
